Early, early mornings. Three, not two cups of coffee. More attention to detail. More people, asking more questions. Presentations are checked five times before being sent out to make sure that there are no mistakes. Sometimes we forget to grab lunch. At the end of the day there's still more to do. You roll out of bed when it's still dark outside. On the way to work and on the ride home you listen to podcasts as the form of your 'continued education.' You are exhausted, and you kicking ass and taking names along the way.
Your efforts are being seen, whether you know it or not; if not today, someone will notice what you're doing tomorrow.
In this day in age people do not receive the benefits of equity or dividends because of who they are - it's about what YOU do.
So, wake up a little earlier. Drink a little more coffee (or tea with honey). And be your biggest fan, because it is through SWEAT EQUITY that you will receive the benefits that you deserve.
